COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is ready to reopen once they receive approval from the state.
El Paso County Commissioners have asked for a variance for churches and the zoo. El Paso County health officials believe they can reopen safely.
With state approval, the zoo would be ready to begin reopening in phases on Monday with strict new safety procedures.
