Remains Of Missing College Student From Nebraska Found By Hiker

FAIRPLAY, Colo. (CBS4) - Authorities in Park County have located the remains of a missing 18-year-old man.

According to the Park County Sheriff's Office, a hiker found the remains last week three miles up the Colorado Trailhead.

"The remains were positively identified as Jason Berglund through comparison of dental records," the Park County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Berglund family and friends. This brings to a close months of investigation and long hours of intensive searches that were conducted."

Berglund was a college student from Nebraska who had been missing since last November.
