Another hiker found a wallet and clothing Sunday near a trail leading to the summit of Mount Harvard and another peak. He led the Chaffee County Search and Rescue team to the site Monday, when the remains were found.

George, of Cleveland, was last heard from on Sept. 18 when he spoke by phone with his girlfriend in Cleveland. He was reported missing four days latter when he failed to check out of his motel room. His car was found locked at a trailhead.

A four-day search last fall turned up no sign of him.
