Reese Leads Colorado Women Past Arizona 66-51

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Jen Reese scored 14 of her 20 points in the second half to lead Colorado to a 66-51 win over Arizona on Friday.

The Buffaloes (13-15, 6-11 Pac-12) broke away from a 28-28 tie at halftime by making 15 of 25 shots in the second half. Reese hit 6 of 7 and Jamee Swan, who had 15 points, and Haley Smith, who had 12, both hit 3 of 4.

Jasmine Sborov's two free throws with 13:21 left put Colorado ahead 41-39 and started a 10-2 run with Reese scoring the last eight points.

The Wildcats (9-19, 2-15) got back within 51-44 with 5:21 left but Swan's three-point play sparked an 11-2 run to secure the win. Swan had seven points in the surge.

Breanna Workman and Kayahndra Cannon had 10 points each for Arizona, which shot just 32.7 percent, including 1 of 10 behind the arc.
