Crews Fully Contain 2 Smaller Wildfires Near Eagle And Durango

EAGLE, Colo. (CBS4) - Two smaller wildfires that broke out in Colorado on Wednesday have been 100 percent contained.

The approximately 20-acre Red Table Fire near Eagle was burning southeast of Sylvan Lake. According to Mike Porras with Colorado Parks and Wildlife, normal operations at Sylvan Lake State Park resumed on Monday.

"Visitors are invited to enjoy a variety of day-use and overnight activities, including hiking, fishing, boating and camping," Porras said in a statement.

Another wildfire burning south of Durango in the Black Ridge area and was estimated at 78 acres and was declared 100 percent contained Sunday Afternoon.

Two helicopters and a heavy air tanker helped fight the fire.
