Prescribed Burn Sends Up Smoke Over Red Feather Lakes

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Crews near Fort Collins conducted a prescribed burn in the Red Feather Lakes on Friday. The burn in Larimer County sent up a lot of smoke.
The burn was designed to clear out 300 acres of brush that could be fuel for a wildfire.
The burn was expected to continue through the weekend but those plans changed with the Red Flag Warnings across Colorado on Saturday.
