Reality Check: GOP Opponent Not Yet Known, But Bennet Running Ads

DENVER (CBS4) - Colorado's 2016 race for U.S. Senate will be one of the most watched in the country.

Incumbent Sen. Michael Bennet is widely considered vulnerable, and the winner of the race could determine which party controls the Senate.

It's no wonder Bennet, a Democrat, is already on the air with ads.

CBS4 Political Specialist Shaun Boyd gave a Reality Check to one of these.

Six Republicans are vying for their party's nomination in the Senate race. The primary to determine who the winner will be takes place next Tuesday.
