Rapids Play To Scoreless Draw With Houston Dynamo

HOUSTON (AP) - Tyler Deric had three saves for his second shutout of the season, helping the Houston Dynamo preserve a scoreless draw with the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night.

Deric had the play of the match in the 31st minute when he deflected Marcelo Sarvas' 8-yard shot over the crossbar. Sarvas got open for the shot after a chest pass from Gabriel Torres and Deric was only able to get his hand on it at the last moment.

Clint Irwin had two saves for the Rapids (0-0-3) for his 20th career MLS shutout.
