Ramp From EB Highway 58 To EB I-70 Closed

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Emergency bridge repairs closed the ramp from eastbound CO Highway 58 to eastbound Interstate 70 on Monday afternoon, impacting the commute to Golden.

The repairs aren't expected to be complete until 7 p.m.

Copter4 flew over the repairs where crews had blocked off the road and were working on what seemed like a large hole.

Traffic is being diverted to 32nd and Youngfield.

CDOT said the bridge had deteriorated to a condition that was unsafe.
