Rally Held To Raise Awareness About Online Schools

DENVER (CBS4) - A rally was held this week to celebrate school choice in the state.

Dozens of parents, students and teachers gathered on the steps of the capitol on Tuesday. The rally was organized by the Colorado Cyberschools Association and the Colorado Coalition of Cyberschool Families. The groups encourage parents to consider online education as an option for some students.

"You as parents have the right, and the responsibility to make sure your child gets exactly what they need," one educator said at the rally.
