Pueblo Celebrates Green Chiles With Plans For Giant Neon Pepper Statue

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4)- It's chile roasting season and the famous Pueblo Green Chiles are hotter than ever. Farmers say since it's been a hot and dry year for growing, the chiles are a bit hotter this year.
The City of Pueblo has been awarded $3 million to renovate its Main Street. It has proposed a 46-foot-tall statue of a neon chile pepper near the city center.
