Public's Help Sought In Finding Man Missing Since 2013

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a Pueblo West man who has been missing for more than a year and a half.

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says Thomas R. Cook was 25 when he left his father's home to hitchhike to Wellington, Kansas, in August 2013. Cook, who left home without any personal belongings, never arrived at his intended destination.

He is described as biracial with brown hair and brown eyes, and is 5-foot-8 and about 180 pounds.

Detective J.C. Williams says Cook's family and friends "are in need of answers and we want to provide those answers."

Anyone with information about Cook's whereabouts is asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 719-542-STOP (719-542-7867) or visit www.pueblocrimestoppers.com.

Cook lived in Kansas before moving to Pueblo West.
