Psychic Sentenced To 6 Years In Prison

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- A self-proclaimed psychic has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to felony theft.

Adam Marks was sentenced on Thursday for felony theft of $500 to $15,000. Marks was arrested in Baltimore County, Md. in March.

Marks conned a Larimer County woman out of $75,000 in 2012. In a 2014 plea deal, Marks, 33, agreed to repay the victim to avoid six years in jail for stealing from an at-risk adult and other charges. Marks didn't show up for his sentencing and after a 17-month search, he was arrested in Baltimore County, Md. in March.

Marks received credit for 59 days already served. He will be sentenced in the future for violations of bail at a later date. That could tack on an extra year.
