Provolone Pirate Targets Pueblo Pizza Shop

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) - The owners of a Pueblo pizza shop say a thief is stealing a very important ingredient -- cheese.

After the first break-in at Do Drop Inn several weeks ago, co-owner Hoss Kashani told KKTV they amped up security.

A surveillance photo now shows  man believed to be the one breaking in and stealing thousands of dollars' worth of provolone cheese.

Employees say he took off with over 20 cases alone on Tuesday, each of which weighs 36 pounds.

"It put us behind. There is a lot of damage to our storage, to our coolers and time consuming to fix all of this stuff so that's our problem right at this moment," said Kashani.

He believes the thief is selling the cheese as it is too much to eat.
