Protesters Rally Against Standardized Testing

DENVER (CBS4)- Protesters rallied on the steps of the state Capitol on Wednesday against standardized testing.

Educators, parents and students hoped to deliver their message to Colorado lawmakers. They carried signs that read, "Testing Does Not Equal Learning" and "My Child Is More Than A Score."

Educators claim the amount of testing impacts how much time they have to teach and children have to learn.

Gov. John Hickenlooper says he favors reviewing the standardized tests and eliminating some of them.
