Prospective Juror's Son In Theater Night Of Mass Shooting
CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) — A man called as a potential juror in the Colorado mass shooting case has notified the judge that his son was in the theater the night.
The judge did not immediately decide whether to dismiss the man Thursday. It was not clear whether his son was in the screening room where the suspect opened fire or elsewhere in the multiplex.
Jury selection began Jan. 20 with prospective panelists filling out questionnaires.

Lawyers are expected to begin oral questioning of candidates next week to find 12 jurors and 12 alternates.
James Holmes, who is charged with killing 12 people and injuring 70 others in the 2012 attack in the Denver area, sat quietly throughout Thursday's proceedings. He has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. Prosecutors seek the death penalty.
