Prosecutors: Man Drove To Colorado For Sex With Minors
DENVER (AP) - A Connecticut man accused of driving across the country to have sex with minors in Colorado has been indicted by a federal grand jury.
U.S. Attorney John Walsh announced the indictment of 28-year-old Jason Tremblay, of Ledyard, Connecticut, on Tuesday.
Prosecutors say Tremblay responded in November to an online advertisement placed by an undercover agent posing as a mother with two minor children living in Greeley.
Prosecutors say Tremblay and the fictional mother agreed to meet with the intent of sexually exploiting the children.
Tremblay set out Feb. 2 for Colorado and was stopped two days later by Greeley police. He was arrested by federal agents.
Tremblay faces charges including travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct and other offenses.
It's unclear whether he's represented by an attorney.
