Project Angel Heart Reaches 8 Million Meal Milestone

DENVER (CBS4)- Local nonprofit Project Angel Heart has reached a big milestone. They have given away 8 million meals.

Project Angel Heart has been preparing medically-tailored meals for Coloradans facing cancer, kidney disease and HIV Aids for more than 30 years.

AT the Denver location, they celebrated the milestone and thanks their many volunteers. This year, Project Angel Heart is projected to provide more than 500,000 meals at no cost.
