Power Goes Out For Thousands In Southeast Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Officials with Xcel Energy scrambled to restore power to approximately 16,000 customers after a transmission line problem Monday morning.

The power outage started before 8 a.m. and was restored soon afterwards.

Xcel officials said the transmission line problem was a weather-related issue.
