Possible Cap On Pot Shops, Grow Houses Discussed

DENVER (CBS4)- The topic of a community meeting on Wednesday evening addresses a possible cap on pot shops and grow houses in Denver.

The proposal was first introduced in a Denver City Council committee meeting on Monday.

Council member Albus Brooks hosted the meeting on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Bruce Randolph School located at 3955 Steele St. to talk about the proposal.

Under the proposal, the only new licenses available would come from pot shops that closed or had their license revoked.

The Denver City Council will take public comment on the idea during its regular Monday meeting on April 11.
