Judge Rejects Effort To Keep Colorado Polls Open Late

DENVER (CBS4)- A judge ruled that the polls will close at 7 p.m. Election Day as scheduled.

At issue was an effort by the Colorado Democratic Party to keep the polls open later to accommodate a voter registration disruption during voting earlier in the day.

Voters were unable to cast ballots in person from 2:47 p.m. to 3:16 p.m.
