2 Armed Men Handcuffed At Police Shooting Protest

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities have identified two men who were arrested after allegedly drawing guns during a protest in Colorado Springs as Dustin W. Brooks and Justin J. Brooks, both 33.

The men were arrested Monday on suspicion of disorderly conduct after scuffling with demonstrators outside police headquarters. The demonstrators were protesting the fatal shooting of a robbery suspect by police.

No phone number could be found for either man, and their names didn't immediately appear in online jail records. It wasn't clear whether they had attorneys who could speak on their behalf.

Police didn't say whether the men were brothers.

Authorities say the men were bail bondsmen. Police say the pair arrived on motorcycles wearing bulletproof vests and bail bonds badges and carrying handcuffs and handguns.

Police say both men drew weapons after a protester struck one of them during an argument.
