Police Seek ID Of Man Caught On Surveillance Trying To Break Into Home

DENVER (CBS4) - Police in Denver would like the public's help identifying a man who attempted to break into a home.

According to police, on June 5 at 7:30 a.m. the suspect repeatedly knocked on the door of a residence located in the 1400 block of Lipan Street. He then went to the side of the home.

"The suspect then used the victim's garden nozzle to break the south side window in an attempt to gain entry," police said in a statement. "The victim believes the suspect may have heard him inside and fled prior to entering the residence."

The suspect was also seen in the yards of other homes in the area.
