Police Search For Thief, 'Selfie' Shows Up On Stolen iPad

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Loveland are trying to find a man after his "selfie" showed up on an iCloud account linked to a stolen iPad.

The iPad was one of several items stolen from a Premier Gymnastics on 11th Street on Saturday.

The photo was found when the owner's daughter was surfing through the family's iCloud on another device.

"She opened up the cloud and is like 'oh my god there's a creepy man,' and was like freaking out," said Premier Gymnastics owner Richard Villarreal.

Whether the man in the photo meant to take a selfie or not, his picture has gone viral and it could help solve the case.

Police said they've figured out who he is, and are looking into how he may be involved.

"Scary, scary, really scary you look at how intense his eyes are you really wonder what's going through his head," said Villarreal.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact police.
