Police Arrest Suspects In Hit And Run On Denver Cop Car
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police nabbed two suspected car thieves who crashed into a Denver police vehicle on Tuesday afternoon and fled on foot.
Police said the accident happened at 19th Avenue and Meade Street in west Denver at approximately 3:40 p.m.
Police caught the two suspects, a male and a female, just a few blocks away at 22nd Avenue and Quitman Street.
No officers were hurt and the car suffered minor damage. The suspects' car, a Toyota, came to rest in a nearby front yard and sustained front-end damage.
A K-9 unit assisted with the search.
