Police ID Victim, Search For Suspect In Deadly Shooting

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver have identified the man found dead on a couch outside an apartment complex on Wednesday morning. Now detectives are looking for the suspect in that homicide.

Toshio Gilmore's lifeless body was discovered outside the Renaissance Apartments located at 5th Avenue and Alton Street in the Lowry neighborhood on a couch early Wednesday morning.

Neighbors say police woke them up around 6 a.m. asking if anyone had seen or heard anything. Some residents say they heard a gunshot around 2 a.m.

Upon further investigation by officers in the Denver Police Homicide Unit they discovered Gilmore had been shot.
