Police Search For Robbery Suspect Who Used Chemical Spray On Clerk

DENVER (CBS4) – Police in Denver would like public's help identifying a suspect who robbed a convenience store by spraying the clerk with a chemical.

According to police, a man is wanted for robbing the 7-Eleven located at 2396 South Federal Boulevard last Thursday at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Police said the suspect took items without paying.

"While fleeing the store, the suspect used a chemical spray on the clerk," police said in a statement.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 22 to 29 years old, 5-foot-8, 180 pounds with a mustache and has a tattoo under his right eye.
