Police Search For Gunman In Deadly Shooting

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver need the public's help in finding a gunman who shot and killed a man outside the Salvation Army building earlier this month.

Police rushed to 22nd and Stout Street about 2:17 a.m. on Aug. 12 on reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived they found the victim, later identified as Derick Wilford, with gunshot wounds.

He died a short time later at the hospital.

Police believe there were several witnesses at the intersection at the time of the shooting and would like to talk to them to help solve Wilford's murder.
