Amber Alert Canceled: Police Find Man, Baby

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - An Amber Alert has been deactivated after a 39-year-old man was arrested his 3-month-old child was found safe.

The Amber Alert was issued out of Colorado Springs just after 3 p.m. and it was canceled at approximately 4:15 p.m.

Police responded to a domestic violence call Saturday morning and learned a man named Jonathan Beatty threatened to kill the baby and his wife. He was also acting suicidal, according to police.

When the woman tried to report the threats to police, Beatty left with the baby.

So far it's not clear what charges Beatty might face in the case.
