Police: Robbery Suspect Forced Homeowner To Give Him Ride

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - A man is in jail after a crime spree Thursday which started with a robbery in Westminster.

The man broke into a woman's house in west Denver and forced her to drive him somewhere, but an officer recognized him and pulled them over at the intersection of West 38th Avenue and Umatilla Street.

"The resident who was in the car with the suspect was uninjured but obviously shaken by the whole thing," said Denver police spokesman Doug Schepman.
