Police Mum After Deputy Shoots Man In Colorado Springs Store
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - The circumstances surrounding a shooting in a Colorado Springs Hobby Lobby are being investigated by the Colorado Springs Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit.
An El Paso County sheriff's deputy shot and injured a man during an incident inside the store on Friday, sending shoppers scrambling for a rear exit.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting of the 48-year-old man, whose name and condition have not been released.
Witnesses said they were in the store when they heard two shots, and then a third shot after a pause. They said they ran out of the store when they realized it was gunfire.
