Police: Metro State's Basketball Coach Arrested For DUI

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver arrested Metro State University's mens basketball coach on Tuesday morning on suspicion of DUI.

Derrick Clark, 44, was pulled over at 7th and Colfax. Police did not reveal what prompted them to pull over Clark.

MSU is aware of the arrest. MSU released this statement: "MSU Denver is aware that Coach Clark was arrested for a DUI yesterday. The University takes these type of allegations very seriously, both in terms of public safety and the conduct of a university employee. MSU Denver President Stephen Jordan initiated an immediate review upon learning of the incident. Additional information may be made available once the review is complete."
