Police investigating shooting in south Denver metro area, two injured

Police are investigating after a shooting took place in the south Denver metro area early Sunday morning.

Englewood police officers were called to the scene in the 3400 block of S. Acoma Street around 4 a.m. Two people were reportedly injured in the shooting.

Officials have not yet released if any arrests have been made, but said there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The shooting remains under investigation.
