Police Investigating Early Morning Shooting

DENVER (CBS4) - Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Monday morning.

It occurred in the area of 25th Avenue and Welton Street, according to a tweet by the Denver Police Department.

Breaking:#DPD officers at 25th Ave and Welton St investigating shooting. 1 victim transported to the hospital.

One person was transported to the hospital for their injuries.

Police say they are expected to survive.
