Police Investigate Social Media Threat To Boulder High School

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Boulder investigated a threat made to Boulder High School that was posted on social media.

The threat was posted just before 10 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators said a screenshot of a text message threatening to harm students went viral on social media.

The Boulder Valley School District was alerted to the threat. The Boulder County Cyber Team and Investigators from the Boulder Police Department are working to determine the origin of the threat.

Investigators did not confirm which platform, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, the threat appeared.

School at Boulder High was in session on Wednesday with increased officer presence from the University of Colorado Police Department.
