Copter4 was overhead while an officer on scene was inspecting a truck on I-25 at the 136th exit ramp in Westminster. The GMC's passenger side window was shattered as the truck traveled southbound on I-25 and passed under the bridge at 144th Avenue.

Westminster police said the incident happened at approximately 3:30 p.m. The driver wasn't injured.

"When he came under the overpass at 144th he heard a loud noise and his window shattered." Cheri Spottke with Westminster police said.

He said he pulled over and immediately called police.

"Obviously he was shook up, but again he's okay," Spottke said.

Police still aren't sure what caused the window to shatter. They've taken the truck in for processing to gather any evidence they can find.

"When we look at things like this, gunshots and rocks shatter windows very similarly," Spottke said.

The FBI and a special task force are investigating two related shootings in Northern Colorado -- one of which killed a bicyclist.

Westminster police said they have contacted the Northern Colorado task force, which along with the FBI includes law enforcement from Weld and Larimer counties.

"We'd like to get whatever this is stopped, if it's related to the incidents up north," Spottke said.
