Police In Vail Arrest 8, Seize Cocaine, Ecstasy, LSD, Heroin, Guns & Cash
VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) - Eight people are under arrest after a drug bust in Vail.
The bust follows a three-month investigation by Vail detectives. Officers took the men -- all in their 20s -- into custody on Saturday without any problems.
Police seized drugs including cocaine, ecstasy, LSD, and heroin. They also recovered a stash of cash and guns.
"These defendants preyed on our community by supplying drugs in our Vail neighborhoods and businesses," Police Chief Dwight Henninger said in a statement. "Their criminal activities impacted the quality of our community for citizens, young people and our visitors, who were unknowingly exposed to the risk of these drug transactions."
The suspects are scheduled to be in court Monday.
