Police Impersonator Case Reported In Parker

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Parker are asking for help from the public in a new police impersonation case.

Authorities said a man driving a black truck used flashing lights to pull a woman over at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday on Parker Road near Pine Lane.

The woman told police the truck was unmarked and that the man came out of the truck after both vehicles were stopped in the shoulder and asked for personal information just like a police officer would.

The man was described as being in his late 30s or early 40s, 5-foot-11 or 6 feet tall, between 180 and 200 pounds and with short sandy brown hair and a goatee. The man wasn't wearing a uniform. He had blue jeans on with a black jacket and a blue or gray colored T-shirt.

The truck he was driving had a large silver toolbox in the bed and a ladder on it.

Police said anyone with more information about the case is asked to call (303) 841-9800.
