Police ID Suspect Who Allegedly Stabbed Woman, Stole Baby
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - Police on Thursday morning identified the 34-year-old woman accused of stabbing a pregnant woman in Longmont and causing her to lose her to lose her unborn baby.
Police say Dynel Lane attacked the victim at Lane's home on the 1600 block of Green Place. The victim, a 26-year-old, was allegedly there responding to a Craigslist ad for baby clothes.
When the victim arrived at Lane's home, police say Lane stabbed her.

Officers arrested Lane after she walked into Longmont United Hospital later with the baby, saying she had a miscarriage.
Lane is tentatively facing murder, assault and child abuse charges.
In a desperate call to 911 obtained by CBS4, the victim is greatly distraught and tells the dispatcher she was cut. The dispatcher repeatedly tells her not to fall asleep and assures her help is on the way during their conversation.
When emergency crews arrived at the home the suspect had left.
The woman was seven months pregnant. She was recovering at the hospital after the crime.
Lane's ex-husband told the Associated Press they had three children together and that one of them died in an accidental drowning in Pueblo in 2002.
