Police Developing Leads On Potential Person Of Interest In Stabbing By Man Dressed As Santa

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Lakewood police say they are working on leads on a possible person of interest in a stabbing on a Regional Transportation District bus on Christmas Eve.

A man dressed as Santa Claus stabbed a 33-year-old man after an argument. Investigators say a piece evidence was left behind on the bus but there's still not enough to call the man a suspect.

According to Steve Davis with Lakewood police, detectives are waiting for some lab work to be done on the evidence to see if there's enough for an arrest warrant.

The victim, whose name hasn't been released, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.
