Police Helicopter Follows Car, Driver Arrested After Crash

DENVER (CBS4)- The driver of a car being followed by a police helicopter crashed into another vehicle and tried to run away.
A police helicopter was following a red car early Thursday morning near 14th and Downing when that vehicle crashed into a blue vehicle traveling north on Downing.
The driver of the red car tried to run away but officers caught up to the suspect a short time later. No one was seriously hurt.
Police have not confirmed with CBS4 why the helicopter was following the driver.
