Police: Driver Accused In Fatal Hit & Run Of Young Girl Was Drinking, High

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Longmont say a driver who hit and killed an 8-year-old was under the influence of marijuana and alcohol.
Peyton Knowlton was riding her bike at 17th and Alpine in May when she was hit.
The 20-year-old driver is now facing charges including vehicular homicide, DUID, and underage possession of alcohol.
The driver's name has not been released.
