Police Charge Local Soccer League Employee With Sex Assault On Child

DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver district attorney has charged a 50-year-old man with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy.

Andres Fuerte Gaspar is charged with child enticement and sexual assault on a child, both felonies.

The DA's office said Gaspar lured the victim back to his apartment on Aug. 17 after telling him he needed help cleaning a soccer field.

Prosecutors said if there are more victims, they would like them to speak with the police.

Gaspar was affiliated with the Universal Soccer League of Denver and was working with young boys. The organization didn't return a call for comment.

Gaspar doesn't have a criminal record.

He was released on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court for an advisement hearing on Sept. 11.
