Police: Bus Driver Admitted To Shots Before Driving

BASALT, Colo. (CBS4)- Police say a bus driver admitted to taking a couple of shots before he got behind the wheel.

Jeffory Estes was pulled over in Basalt and arrested for investigation of DUI.

Estes apparently admitted to officers that he had been drinking before he got behind the wheel of a the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority bus.

Supervisors first alerted deputies about Estes after they say he had slurred speech while talking on the radio.

Estes has been terminated from his position.
