Police Arrest Sexual Assault Suspect In Montbello Burglary
DENVER (CBS4)- Police arrested a man wanted for a sexual assault that happened during a burglary in Montbello last month.
Police arrested Dante Walker, 19, in a sexual assault that happened at a home in the area of E. Pensacola Place and Randolph Place on June 21.
The charges allege that a 17-year-old female awoke to find an unknown man in her bedroom where he sexually assaulted her. She was able to alert other family members in the home who called police.
Officers said when they arrived, Walker ran away from them and could not be found. He has been on the run since. Police said Walker was later identified as a suspect through DNA and was arrested on Saturday.
