Police: 64-Year-Old Man Gets Stabbed In Neck By 20-Year-Old He Met Online

LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - A 64-year-old Loveland man was attacked by a woman he met online, according to police.

Police say that Janessa Rosenbach, 20, from Evans, stabbed the man on Sunday. The victim, whose name hasn't been released, is now recovering from his injuries.

A more than 24-hour search ended Tuesday when Rosenbach turned herself into Loveland police on Tuesday. She's currently being held in the Larimer County Jail and faces felony assault and attempted first-degree homicide charges

"It's kind of scary," said Patty Kemper, the victim's neighbor on Caddoa Drive. "He looked like he had a bloody shirt and it appeared that they had taped up his neck. He had a wide white bandage around his neck area."

Investigators say Rosenbach and the man met online, but they're not saying what site or what may have prompted the attack.

The victim's condition is reportedly improving.

Rosenbach is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
