Police: 3 Dead, 2 Injured In Denver Rollover Crash

DENVER (AP) - Police believe speed was a factor in a rollover crash that killed three people and seriously injured two others in Denver.

The accident occurred about 9:30 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle apparently hit a tree at the junction of South Irving Street and West Jewell Avenue.

The vehicle then rolled over and trapped some of its five occupants.

Police spokesman Sonny Jackson says two people were pronounced dead at the scene, and the third person died after being rushed to a hospital.

The victims haven't been identified.
