Plows Make It Through, Ophir Pass Opens For Season

SAN MIGUEL COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Another one of Colorado's high mountains passes has been opened for the summer season.

San Miguel County announced the opening of Ophir Pass on Thursday with a photo of snow walls on either side of a freshly plowed road.

Just a few weeks ago the road was snow covered and impassable. A photo from June 2 shows road crews hard at work clearing the pass.
