Plan For Cannabis Clubs Close To Passing In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - All the votes aren't in yet, but it appears a majority of Denver voters will approve a plan to allow some marijuana use in bars and restaurants.

Ballot initiative Denver 300 would allow some use of pot in such establishments.

The proposal would required marijuana establishments to be 21-and-older and would include a ban on smoking marijuana indoors (patrons could use edibles or vaporized marijuana indoors).

The measure would expire in 2020.

Colorado law doesn't allow nor ban public marijuana use. The result is a patchwork of local policies.
