'Pink Vail' Raises More Than $735,000 To Help Conquer Cancer
VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) - Nearly 3,000 people participated in this year's Pink Vail event to conquer cancer last Saturday.
It was the fifth year of Pink Vail where skiers wear bright pink and hit the slopes of Vail Mountain.
The event raised more than $735,000 to benefit cancer patients and survivors at Shaw Regional Cancer Center located in Edwards.

"With perfect snow conditions, live-music all day, and nary a cloud in the sky, it was truly incredible. Thank you for being a part of Pink Vail, for uniting in our fight against all cancers and for funding complimentary services for cancer patients in the Rocky Mountains," Pink Vail spokesperson Mara Sheldon said in a statement.
Of the thousands there were 211 cancer survivors who also participated.
